Age calculator
Find your exact age in years, months and days — plus weeks, hours and your next birthday.
How to use
Choose your date of birth and the calculator instantly shows your exact age in years, months and days, using real calendar math (it accounts for differing month lengths and leap years rather than approximating). The headline figure updates live down to the minute.
Below that you'll find your age expressed in total months, weeks, days, hours and minutes — useful for milestones and fun facts — plus the day of the week you were born and a countdown to your next birthday.
It runs entirely in your browser, so your birth date is never uploaded. Copy a clean summary, or share a link with the date pre-filled.
Examples

Frequently asked questions
How is age calculated?
By calendar subtraction: it counts whole years, then remaining whole months, then days — borrowing from the correct previous month — so it matches how people actually state ages, including across leap years.
What day of the week was I born?
The calculator shows it automatically once you enter your date of birth.
Is my date of birth private?
Yes. Everything is computed locally in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
Can I calculate age between two specific dates?
This tool measures age up to the current moment. For arbitrary date differences, use the timestamp converter.
