How to use

Type your headline, then customise the banner label (BREAKING NEWS, LIVE, JUST IN…), the channel name, the scrolling ticker and the location badge. The preview updates live as you type, so you can see exactly how the finished breaking-news graphic will look before you save it.

Upload your own background photo to put anyone — a friend, a pet, yourself — at the centre of the story. The image is read straight from your device into the preview and is never uploaded anywhere, so it stays completely private. Pick a theme colour (or a custom one) and choose a format: 16:9 for X and YouTube thumbnails, 1:1 for an Instagram post, or 9:16 for a story or reel.

When it looks right, click Download PNG to save a high-resolution image, or Copy image to drop it straight into a chat or post. Hit Surprise me for instant spoof headlines, and toggle individual elements (logo, LIVE badge, ticker, clock) on or off to match the look you want.

Examples

Roast a friend

Upload a photo of a friend, set the headline to something absurd, and share a custom BREAKING NEWS card in the group chat.

Announce something

Make a mock news bulletin to announce a launch, a birthday or an office win — far more eye-catching than a plain text post.

Social thumbnails

Use the 16:9 format with your brand colour to create a scroll-stopping news-style thumbnail for a video or tweet.

Frequently asked questions

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?

No. The whole generator runs in your browser — your photo is read locally into the preview and never sent to a server. Nothing leaves your device.

What sizes can I export?

Three formats: 16:9 (1600px wide, great for X/YouTube), 1:1 (1200px, Instagram posts) and 9:16 (1080px, stories and reels). All download as high-resolution PNG.

Can I use my own colours and channel name?

Yes. Pick from the preset theme colours or choose any custom colour, and set your own channel name, banner label, ticker text and location badge.

Is this real news?

No — it's a parody/meme tool for fun. The images you make are clearly spoof graphics, so please don't present them as genuine news.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It works in any modern mobile or desktop browser, and most features work offline once the page has loaded.
